Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. Just as a flower blooms in the spring time God’s love blooms ALL THE TIME! As his love pours out so do the many blessings he gives up!! He even reminds us in his Word that he will take care of us just as he takes care of the birds in the air and the flowers in the fields. Therefore we should praise the Lord for all that he has done for us!! We can look back and easily find the downsides of our lives but let’s focus on the many blessings he has given us because he loves us!! The best blessing of all is that He sent his Son to “remove our transgressions from us” and he “forgives all our sins”. Who could ask for anything better than that?!? Remember his great love and his great blessings on this Valentine’s Day and always!! Happy Valentine’s Day!!
